Orchard Care Homes is seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join Paddock Stile Manor Dementia Care Home. You will support residents with daily needs, deliver personal care, and help create a warm, respectful living environment.

This role offers flexible full- or part-time hours (22–44 hours) on day shifts, with comprehensive training and opportunities for growth within a supportive team. DBS check is funded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care such as washing, dressing and assisting with daily routines.
• Support residents in activities, meals and social engagement.

• Be a friendly, respectful presence and uphold residents' dignity and independence.
• Support new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Follow care plans and document observations as required.

Schedule/Hours – Full and part time, 22-44hrs - Days

As a Care Assistant at Paddock Stile Manor Care Home, you’ll be a vital part of our dedicated care team. You’ll support residents with their daily needs, always treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness. Your responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments
• Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy
• Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing
• Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences
• Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture
