Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the preparation and service of nutritious meals in a hygienic environment. You will work as part of a caring team, helping with food preparation, meal delivery to residents, washing up, and supporting baking sessions with warmth and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates are reliable, patient, and committed to upholding current food hygiene standards while contributing to a friendly, home-like atmosphere for residents.

• Assist in preparation of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions.
• Prepare vegetables and help with curry night prep.
• Deliver breakfasts to residents and assist with baking mornings.
• Wash up and keep kitchen tidy and safe.

Job description

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident's breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
