Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for a luxury care home in Hornchurch. You will assist chefs with food preparation and help maintain a clean, orderly kitchen. The role includes learning about dietary needs, including dementia dining, to support residents.

We are seeking kind, proactive individuals who are eager to learn and progress. Part-time day shifts are available, with alternate weekends required and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to train and progress in a luxury care kitchen.
• Positive, proactive and organized approach is valued.

Join our talented team in a highly equipped kitchen, with the opportunity to train and progress, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Kitchen Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Hornchurch.

Your Role at Signature

Our Kitchen Assistant is integral to the smooth running of our kitchen. You’ll be assisting chefs with food preparation, and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.

You’ll develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including the dementia dining experience, to assist the chefs in meeting these needs.
