Join a talented team as a kitchen assistant at a leading establishment in North Cornwall. This role offers a great opportunity to start your career in a commercial kitchen, where you will assist with food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness. Enjoy flexible working hours, training, and various discounts as part of the team.
The 17th century Port Gaverne Hotel is nestled in a beautiful, secluded cove near Port Isaac on North Cornwall's dramatic coast. Relax in our traditional old bar with slate floors, wooden beams, and a wide range of proper ales served alongside seasonal, quality food inspired by the bounty on our doorstep.
The Port Gaverne has 15 ensuite rooms, each individually furnished. Please note, our rooms are situated on two floors of the building, and because the building is very old, we do not have access to an elevator. All rooms are accessible via a narrow, steep staircase with low ceilings, preserving the natural beauty of the place.
The beautiful, peaceful North Cornwall Heritage Coast is on our doorstep, with the beach just moments away.
Be part of a talented team, assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and safe. This role is ideal for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen.
St Austell Brewery is an Equal Opportunities employer, and we positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates, regardless of age, sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital/civil partnership status, or pregnancy and maternity.
