Job summary

Upham Inns is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to keep the kitchen running smoothly. You will help the chefs, maintain cleanliness and safety, and learn the skills to grow within our premium pubs across Southern England.

Expect friendly collaboration, flexible shifts, and opportunities to progress toward chef roles as part of our growing pub group. Training is provided to build a career in the food business.

• Up to £12.71 per Hour plus a share of Tronc

Join us as a kitchen assistant, and you’ll be the person who keeps the wheels turning in our busy kitchen. You’ll keep it clean and you’ll keep it safe - and you’ll protect the space so the chefs can create spectacular dishes.

If you’ve never worked in a professional kitchen before, don’t worry. Comprehensive training will be provided.

What do we do?

We own a collection of beautiful and individual premium pubs across Southern England. Our pubs are in idyllic settings in country villages and towns, where we are proud to be the quality local of the area, serving high quality fresh pub food in a cozy pub ambience. Most of our pubs have some Charming Bedrooms as well. New to our growing family is Harper’s Steakhouse, a new premium American Steakhouse brand that we started rolling out last year.
