Job summary

Care Concern Group's Etive House Care Home in the Oban area is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support a team in delivering high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. The role is hands-on and involves food prep, stock organisation, and assisting with deliveries alongside the Chef.

You'll work 39.33 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with PVG, pension and uniform provided, plus 5.6 weeks' annual leave. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Located in the beautiful village of Benderloch by Oban, we offer small group living accommodation for up to 62-residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour


• Contracted to 39.33 hours per week

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
