Job summary

St. Mary’s College in Liverpool seeks a Kitchen Assistant based at St. Mary’s College. The role is 17.5 hours per week, typically 1:00pm to 4:30pm, term time with inset and cleaning days, and some flexibility including occasional evenings.

Duties include cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, serving food and drinks, and occasional sandwich preparation. The college is committed to safeguarding; a DBS check will be required.

Job description

We seek to appoint a Kitchen Assistant based at St. Mary’s College.

The role is 17.5 hours per week, usually between the hours of 1.00pm – 4.30pm. Term time including inset and cleaning days, some flexibility will be required, including occasional evening work.

The main duties are cleaning the kitchen and serving food and drinks. On a daily basis the role will be washing dishes and pots and cleaning all areas of the kitchen once the majority of the catering staff have left for the day. The role may occasionally involve the preparation of sandwiches, salads and snack foods.
