Get Golfing CIO, a charity dedicated to making golf more accessible for all, is seeking a Junior Chef to join our team at Warley Park Golf Club.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving and dynamic organization managing 13 sites with 7,000 members and over 160,000 visitors annually.

The successful candidate will be part of a £20m revenue company with 400 employees, reinvesting profits into venues, courses, staff development, and community charitable initiatives.

The Role

We take pride in the food we serve, from vibrant events to our exceptional Clubhouse offerings. As a kitchen assistant, you’ll be a key part of our kitchen team, washing up, maintaining high food safety standards, and bringing dishes to life with creativity and skill. You’ll help us stand out in the Golf and Leisure market by delivering high-quality food that encourages repeat visits.

This is a casual position paid at minimum wage according to your age.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to established menus and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to menu planning and the development of new dishes.
  • Support and train other kitchen staff as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure all dishes are served promptly.
  • Some experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of allergens and intolerances.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious dishes.
