Fairlie Healthcare Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team at Highfield House, Purley. You will help prepare nutritious meals for residents, assist in food preparation, and ensure meals are presented to the highest standard.
We value reliability, good hygiene, teamwork and a positive attitude. Full right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available. Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not essential, and comprehensive training is provided.

Good nutrition plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our residents, and you'll play an important part in ensuring every meal is prepared and served to the highest standard.

Assist with preparing breakfast, lunch and supper
Prepare sandwiches, soups and evening meals that are nutritious, varied and beautifully presented
Support the Chef with meal preparation and cooking
Help plan menus and contribute ideas for new dishes
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
Ensure dietary, nutritional and cultural requirements are always met
Take pride in delivering an excellent dining experience for our residents
You’ll be successful if you have:
Full Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position and cannot accept Student Visa or Skilled Worker Visa applicants)
Previous Kitchen Assistant experience (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Good organisation and time management
A flexible and positive attitude
Knowledge of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices
