Job summary

Porthaven Care Homes in Cambridge is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team and help deliver nutritious, well-balanced meals to residents. No formal qualifications are required as full training will be provided, and you will work as part of a supportive team in a warm, caring environment.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, assist with food preparation, and get to know residents while developing practical skills. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• You will be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach.
• Formal qualifications are not necessary as full training will be provided.
• Any experience in a commercial kitchen or care setting is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
