Job summary

Ysgol Carreg Hir in Neath is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support lunchtime service, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and assist with meal preparation for young people.

5 hours per week, term-time only (Mon-Fri 12:30–13:30). No formal qualifications required; basic food hygiene training will be provided. DBS check required. Welsh language skills are not required. For informal discussion contact Jayne Dennis, Catering Manager, on 07768761107 or [e-mail].

Qualifications

• There are no formal qualifications required for this post, however you will be required to undertake training of basic food hygiene and attend training courses relevant to this post.
• You will work as part of a team and be able to work in accordance with agreed schedules, comply with Food and Health and Safety Regulations and work to a high standard.
