Job summary

Care Concern Group operates Penrose Care Home in Biggleswade and seeks a Kitchen Assistant to support high-quality meals in a well organised kitchen. You will help with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and assist with deliveries and stock management, while contributing to a safe, efficient kitchen routine.

You will work with the Chef and team, with a focus on reliability, organisation and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential

• Support food preparation and meal delivery in a busy kitchen

• Work closely with the Chef and wider team to run the kitchen smoothly

Job description

Situated in the residential area of Kings Reach in the market town of Biggleswade, our private, luxury care home offers several types of care for up to 65 residents., As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
