Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Ascot is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our highly equipped kitchen in our luxury care and nursing home. You will assist chefs with food preparation and keep the kitchen clean and orderly, supporting smooth service across shifts.

We value kindness, resilience and a proactive, organized approach. Some kitchen experience helps; we provide ongoing training and development and opportunities to progress within our residential and dementia care environment.

Qualifications

• Some experience working in a kitchen is an advantage.
• You’ll develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including dementia dining.

• Shift times will be between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm.Alternate weekends required.
• Full time 40 hours per week
• Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service

Join our talented team in a highly equipped kitchen, with the opportunity to train and progress, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Kitchen Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Ascot.

Your Role at Signature

Our Kitchen Assistant is integral to the smooth running of our kitchen. You’ll be assisting chefs with food preparation, and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.

You’ll develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including the dementia dining experience, to assist the chefs in meeting these needs.
