Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Ascot is looking for a caring Care Assistant to join our luxury home. You will support residents with personal care, meals and mobility, including dementia care, while maintaining dignity and comfort.

We offer flexible full- and part-time hours and a friendly team dedicated to development and wellbeing. Join us for ongoing training, 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), free meals on shift and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience not required; NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate well in writing and speech; basic IT skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a caring role.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Help residents with daily activities and enable them to feel at home.
• Engage residents in activities and social happenings (bingo, shopping, live music).
• Contribute to developing residents' Care Plans and be aware of any specialist needs.

Job Introduction

You’ll be part of a caring, supportive team with exciting career development opportunities, and flexible full and part-time hours, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Care Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Ascot.

Your Role at Signature

Signature at Ascot are holding weekly drop in sessions on Wednesdays from 12pm to 3pm. You can pop in at any time and meet our friendly team, there will be opportunities to have a look around our beautifulhome and speak to our teams about opportunities we have available.

We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
