Job summary

West Ham United is seeking a reliable Laundry Assistant at Chadwell Heath Training Ground. You will join the Academy Operations team to manage daily kit and laundry tasks, ensuring training and match gear is clean, organised and ready for use by players and staff.

Working evenings Monday to Saturday, you will support both the Academy and Women's teams, while adhering to club procedures, DBS requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or kit-room experience may be helpful.
• Reliability, organization and high standards are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and teams.
• Willingness to learn and follow Club procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily laundry from players and staff and process items.
• Wash, dry, fold and organise training and match kit and towels.
• Operate washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Follow garment care instructions and hygiene standards.
• Prepare clean kit for training sessions and matches.
• Distribute kit to players and staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and report equipment faults or safety concerns.
