Job summary

Powerleague in Slough is seeking energetic, committed self-employed coaches to lead children’s football sessions, birthday parties, and holiday camps at our venues. You will create a safe, inclusive environment while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safeguarding and venue standards.

Ideal candidates are available afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school holidays, with an Enhanced DBS, FA Level 1/2, and basic First Aid.

Qualifications

• Afternoons, evenings, weekends and school holidays availability.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
• FA Level 1 or 2 qualification is essential.
• Understand safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Knowledge of child development and ability to support varied ages.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, engaging and age-appropriate football sessions for children.

• Support with events such as birthday parties, holiday camps and community programmes.

We’re looking for energetic, committed and confident self- employed coaches to lead a range of children’s activities — including football parties, holiday camps and weekly sessions — while delivering an exceptional customer experience every time.

Our state of the art pitches and venues are a community hub, a place where people come together to play, connect and grow. Within our Venue Operations, we also run over 350 football leagues to cater for all customers’ needs each week, through 5, 6 or 7 a- side games.

What You’ll Do

• Lead fun, engaging and age-appropriate football sessions for children.

What You’ll Need

• To work afternoons, evenings, weekends as well as during school holidays.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check is required for this role
• FA Level 1 or Level 2 qualification.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Have knowledge an understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs
• Ability to engage, motivate and support children of varying ages.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one).
