Job summary

Paget High School is seeking a reliable part-time cleaner to carry out cleaning duties across the premises and to help maintain a secure site each evening.

The role involves washing up staff crockery, completing additional cleaning tasks as required, and acting as a named keyholder to respond to alarm calls when no other keyholder is available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across the school premises.

• Act as a named keyholder and attend alarm calls if needed.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out specific cleaning duties across the school premises
• Wash up and put away staff cutlery and crockery at the end of the school day
• Undertake additional cleaning duties as required
• Ensure the school building is secure when leaving each evening
• Check that all staff and students have left the premises before securing the site
• Act as a named keyholder and, where necessary, attend alarm calls if no other keyholder is available
• Follow school procedures relating to health and safety, security, safeguarding and confidentiality
