Job summary

Kettlethorpe High School seeks an experienced senior leader to drive behaviour, attendance and pupil progress for Year 7 while supporting a KS2/3 transition. You will manage a key stage team of form tutors, chair year meetings and shape the school’s approach to learning, safeguarding and pastoral care.

You will lead data analysis, identify underachieving pupils, plan targeted interventions, work with parents, and contribute to the school improvement plan.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status and ongoing professional development.
• Experience leading a team of tutors.
• Ability to analyse data to drive attainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead year team meetings and set targets for Y7 progress.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for Y7.
• Oversee safeguarding, attendance and behaviour strategies.
• Collaborate with SLT to implement school improvement plan.
