Axcis Education is currently seeking a resilient SEND Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in West Bromwich. This full-time role involves supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with various needs, including behavioural challenges. Experience in a school setting is not essential; enthusiastic candidates from care or residential backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The position starts immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
2. Create a supportive and motivational learning environment to foster independence and self-confidence
3. Assist in delivering tailored lessons and modify strategies to meet individual needs

Requirements:

1. Essential SEND experience
2. A calm, resilient approach to supporting children with behavioural challenges
3. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff and parents
4. Enhanced DBS on the update service is required
