Smile Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in Wolverhampton (WV5) on a long-term, full-time basis. The role focuses on supporting KS2 pupils in years 5 and 6, delivering engaging lessons and targeted interventions.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications or have relevant KS2 experience in a UK school setting. Competitive daily pay and dedicated consultancy support are provided.

Salary: £85-£110 per day.

Employment Type: Full-time, (Long-term, 5 days a week).

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? Smile Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within a collaborative and supportive school, in Wv5. The ideal Candidate would hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or have the relevant experience within Key stage 2, supporting years 5 and 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support and work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support learning across the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.
• Provide targeted support to year 5 and 6 pupils in preparation for SATs, particularly in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.
• Deliver effective 1:1 and small group interventions to address gaps in learning and help children achieve their full potential.
• Monitor students’ progress and identify individual learning needs and help adapt activities/resources to ensure all children are appropriately supported.
• Promote positive behaviour, encourage independence and resilience, and build supportive relationships that enable pupils to thrive academically and emotionally.

Ideal Candidate:

• Have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or have the relevant experience, working with Key Stage 2 in a UK school setting.
