Job summary

Anns Grove Primary School in Heeley, Sheffield, has an exciting opportunity for a maternity cover classroom teacher. You will be responsible for delivering the curriculum with exceptional teaching and learning to all pupils.

The successful candidate will be expert in English and mathematics, skilled at building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, and able to plan engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

The role

Anns Grove Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, talentedand caring individual to join our team on a maternity cover as a classroom teacher. You will be responsible forthe implementation and impactof our curriculumthrough the deliveryof exceptional teaching and learning to all pupils.This will ensure theyachieve the very best that they can.

Teaching responsibilities include:

The candidate

Candidates must have the ability to engage, inspire and motivate both pupils and colleagues and have the strategic vision to be part of the team moving our vibrant school forward.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom skills, including a sound understanding of how children learn. They will also have the ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children. They must be team players who are exceptional teachers of English and mathematics, as well as having the knowledge and skills to inspire children’s learning in all wider areas of the curriculum.
