Job summary

Connex Education is recruiting passionate Key Stage 2 Primary Teachers to support a variety of welcoming primary schools across Weston-super-Mare from September 2026. Flexible opportunities include day-to-day supply, long-term placements and potential permanent roles.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, create engaging lessons and foster a positive classroom culture where every child can achieve their full potential, whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally Key Stage 2.
  • Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure each child reaches their potential.
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations with differentiated teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leaders.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and achievement.

Connex Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teachers to support a variety of welcoming primary schools across Weston-super-Mare from September 2026.

We are recruiting for day-to-day supply, long-term placements and potential permanent roles, giving you the flexibility to choose opportunities that suit your lifestyle and career goals. What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 2
