Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a motivated KS2 Teacher in Preston (PR5) to join a welcoming primary school for the Autumn Term, with a September 2026 start and potential extension.

The role requires QTS and KS2 experience; you will plan, deliver, assess, and support pupil progress, collaborating with staff and attending events as needed.

Competitive pay on the M1-M6 scale with ongoing consultant support, with the possibility of longer-term or permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (including placements for ECTs).
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the PR5 area of Preston that is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role for the Autumn Term, with the possibility of the position being extended as the school is considering recruiting on a permanent basis.
