Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Preston is seeking a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school from September 2026, initially for one term with potential extension.

The role is full-time in the PR5 area, with a competitive M1–M6 salary depending on experience. The ideal candidate holds QTS, has KS2 experience (including ECT placements), strong classroom management, and excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other school events as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role for the Autumn Term, with the possibility of the position being extended as the school is considering recruiting on a permanent basis.

The Role

As the successful KS2 Teacher, you will:
