Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Bedfordshire, seeking enthusiastic KS2 teachers to join their teams. This role suits experienced KS2 teachers or an ECT with a strong interest in Key Stage 2.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, planning differentiated lessons and supporting pupil progress. You will collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing their ECT
  • Experience or strong interest in Key Stage 2
  • Passion for primary education
  • Enthusiastic, creative and committed to high‑quality learning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • High expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and achievement

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated KS2 lessons
  • Teach the KS2 curriculum effectively

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Teaching Tomorrow is working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Bedfordshire who are seeking enthusiastic teachers to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced KS2 teacher or an ECT with a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 2.

The Role:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative and differentiated lessons
  • Teaching the KS2 curriculum effectively
  • Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school
Requirements:

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is currently completing their ECT
  • Has experience teaching, or a strong interest in, Key Stage 2
  • Has a genuine passion for primary education
  • Is enthusiastic, creative and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences
  • Can build strong and positive relationships with pupils
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is adaptable, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Has high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and achievement
