Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Saltley, Birmingham is recruiting a Year 6 Teacher for a January 2027 start on a full-time temporary basis with potential to go permanent. The role is based in a welcoming, three-form-entry primary school and offers daily rates of £150–£200, with a temp-to-perm path and opportunities for career progression.

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity from January 2027?

I am delighted to be working in partnership with a fantastic 3-form-entry primary school in Saltley, where I have built a strong relationship with the school over several years. The school is now looking to welcome a passionate and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position with the school for the right candidate. There is also an exciting opportunity for career progression, with the school looking to appoint someone who could take on the responsibility of Year Group Lead.

The successful Year 6 Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
