Job summary

Three R’s Teacher Recruitment is seeking a confident Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher for a welcoming village primary school near Ashford. The role is part-time (two days per week: Thursday and Friday) with an immediate start through to the end of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will hold UK QTS, have primary teaching experience (Years 5-6), and demonstrate strong classroom management. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or UK-recognised equivalent.
• Experience teaching in primary schools, ideally Years 5-6.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Able to commit to Thursdays and Fridays.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Looking for a part-time teaching role in a welcoming village school? We are seeking a confident Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly primary school on the outskirts of Ashford, covering two days a week on Thursdays and Fridays. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a consistent part-time commitment within a close-knit school community, with an immediate start available through to the end of the academic year.

The ideal Key Stage 2 Teacher will:

• Deliver engaging lessons to pupils in Upper Key Stage 2
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Contribute to the supportive ethos of the school

Key Stage 2 Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised within the UK
• Experience teaching within primary schools, ideally across Years 5 and 6
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to commit to Thursdays and Fridays
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
