Job summary

Sir Peter Hall School, part of Unity Schools Partnership, invites applications for a Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher in a permanent role with flexibility to be full time or part time. The post starts 1 January 2027 or sooner.

You will work with children aged 9-16 who have SEMH needs, teaching on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and in whole-class settings. The role requires excellent de-escalation and behaviour management skills and a passion to help pupils achieve their very best.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for teaching children with SEMH needs.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a SEMH setting.
• Excellent de-escalation and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to teach pupils one-to-one, in small groups and to whole classes.

• You will be prepared to teach pupils on a one-to-one basis as well as in small groups and whole class settings.

Sir Peter Hall School is a growing school educating children between the ages of 9 - 16 who have a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs all of whom have an Education Health and Care Plan.
