St Brendan's Catholic Primary School in Corby is seeking a committed Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for a full-time fixed-term maternity cover starting November 2026. The post offers an opportunity to work with a friendly school community focused on wellbeing, Catholic ethos, and enriching arts-based learning.

You will plan and deliver a diverse KS2 curriculum, contribute to our nurturing environment, and collaborate with our multi-academy trust across Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a UK primary setting.
• Ability to deliver a rich, varied curriculum within a Catholic ethos.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons and manage daily class activities.
• Support pupils' wellbeing and behaviour in line with school values.

This is a full-time, fixed term position - Maternity Cover to commence from November 2026

St Brendan's Catholic Primary School is a wonderful one and a half form entry primary school educating approximately 310 pupils and is located in Corby. St Brendan's is part of the Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies, formed by the merger of three former Catholic Trusts in February 2020. Our school works closely together with 11 other Catholic schools that are part of the Trust located across Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.

Our school is seeking a highly committed and passionate Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to ignite a real passion in our pupils by providing a rich, varied and exciting curriculum within a nurturing and caring environment underpinned by our Catholic ethos. We have a strong focus on wellbeing and our curriculum foundation blocks underpins this in all we do. Our love of the arts provides a vibrant environment to work in and ensures all children have the opportunity to explore the Arts for their own interests. Our unique curriculum equips our pupils with a breadth of knowledge and skills; delivered through consistent and progressive pedagogies.
