Job summary

Academics is seeking a Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher to cover a flexible supply role across Retford, Nottinghamshire. The position involves teaching across Year 1 and Year 2 in supportive primary schools, offering variety and practical experience in different environments.

Ideal for experienced KS1 teachers or Early Career Teachers; you will deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms effectively, and contribute to pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong classroom management and clear communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
