Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Key Stage 1 Teacher for Worksop, Nottinghamshire, starting September 2026 on a temporary contract. You will deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, fostering a positive, inclusive classroom and supporting pupils’ academic and social development across varied primary settings.

Applicants must hold QTS, have UK KS1 experience, and an Enhanced DBS with Update Service or be willing to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 in UK primary schools.
• Enhanced DBS certificate via Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and annual safeguarding training.
