Job summary

YOURS in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a friendly, energetic retail team member who loves fashion and delivering first-class customer service. You will help open/close, handle till, cash up, and keep stock replenished.

You will engage customers, promote products, work with the team under busy peak trading periods, and ensure store procedures and Health and Safety guidelines are followed. Flexible contracted hours with a guaranteed weekly minimum and the expectation to work extra when needed, at

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face contact is desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of High Street fashion.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management as required.
• Cash up at the end of the day and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Provide back-up support to the Store/Deputy Manager and report issues.
• Optimise sales and individual customer purchases.
• Engage the customer by delivering a first-class customer service.
• Operate till and handle financial transactions.
• Replenish stock with our products and brands.
• Assist with deliveries and stock handling – busy environment.
• Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures.
• Take responsibility for personal development and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Responsible for Health and Safety.

This contracted hours stated above is a guaranteed weekly minimum but there is an expectation to work more hours and flexibly is required especially during peak trading periods.

Pay Rates: £13.10 per hour regardless of age
