Key Account Manager - Grocery UK

Job summary

Estrid is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our London-based B2B team and manage a portfolio of UK grocery accounts. You will report to the Senior Key Account Manager and drive revenue while building strong day-to-day relationships with buyers, supply and category teams.

You will own forecasts, manage P&Ls, analyze retailer data, and lead launches and promotions from concept to in-store execution. A 3+ year background in KAM and Tesco experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in key account management, ideally looking after UK grocery accounts.
• Tesco experience strongly preferred; experience with other major grocers (Sainsbury's, Ocado, Waitrose) also welcome
• FMCG background, ideally in health and beauty or personal care
• Confident negotiator on promotions, pricing, distribution and space
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with EPOS, sell-through and retailer data (e.g. Tesco Partner Toolkit or dunnhumby)
• Commercially minded, with experience managing account P&Ls and forecasts
• Clear communicator and confident presenter, both with retailers and internally
• Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business
• Strong relationship builder who enjoys working across teams

Responsibilities

• Manage the P&L for each account, balancing investment with top-line opportunity
• Drive net revenue and identify opportunities to grow distribution
• Own sales forecasting for core and new products, working with Operations and Demand Planning
• Monitor service levels and stock availability, resolving supply issues with the retailer quickly
• Drive new product launches and promotional plans through to in-store execution
• Prepare and support JBPs and quarterly business reviews alongside the Senior Key Account Manager
• Build business cases for new initiatives, assessing risks and opportunities
• Report weekly and monthly on sales, sell-through and performance against budget

Your purpose & impact:
