Job summary

MasterMover Ltd in the South of England is seeking a remote, field-based Sales/Account Manager to own a defined territory, manage strategic accounts, and develop new business opportunities.

You will act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor, partner with Engineering and Applications teams, and lead opportunities from enquiry to order, with travel across the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B/industrial sales with revenue growth
  • Experience managing strategic or key accounts
  • Experience selling technical, engineered capital equipment
  • Experience managing long sales cycle, project-led sales opportunities
  • Strong technical aptitude for engineering applications and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial judgement and solution-selling capability
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence both technical and commercial decision-makers
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently across a large territory
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively in the South of England

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow strategic and key customer accounts across the South of England
  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing and industrial sectors
  • Deliver consultative, solution-led sales by understanding customer applications and requirements
  • Lead opportunities from enquiry through site surveys, technical solution development, proposal and negotiation to order
  • Conduct customer site visits, assessments and product demonstrations
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and regularly achieve revenue targets
  • Maintain CRM records, pipeline management and sales forecasting
  • Develop expert knowledge of MasterMover products, applications and capabilities
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Applications teams to tailor solutions
  • Interpret customer requirements and communicate them across internal teams
  • Support project implementation and handover as required
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends for growth opportunities

Location: Remote – South of England (with regular travel across the region and occasional visits to our Head Office in Ashbourne, Derbyshire)

We're looking for a technically minded, commercially driven sales professional who can combine strong customer relationship skills with the ability to understand complex engineering challenges. You'll be equally comfortable developing new business, managing strategic accounts and working alongside customers, Engineering and Applications teams to deliver tailored material handling solutions. With the ability to translate customer requirements into technically appropriate solutions, you'll act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process, from initial concept through to successful implementation.

You will bring:
