About Us

Snappy Shopper is the market leader in the growing Q-commerce convenience grocery sector, worth £41b in the UK. In addition to our independent retailers, we serve most of the major convenience store players, including Spar, Nisa, Premier and Booker.

Snappy exists to enable local high street businesses to serve their customers online so that local communities thrive, and revenue stays local. Retailers have seen revenue uplifts of between £5k and £120k per month, making the platform mission critical to local business.

Our location

We are a Scottish start-up with 130 colleagues based around the UK with offices in Dundee and Edinburgh.

About The Team

At Snappy Shopper, we are revolutionising q-commerce where our marketplace and white-label solutions play a vital role in helping our group partners grow. Our team is passionate about driving success through strong collaboration, strategic insight, and operational excellence. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and love building relationships that deliver real impact, this is the role for you!

About The Role

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and developing relationships with our key group partners. Your goal? To drive growth, increase revenue, and ensure client satisfaction. Working closely with internal teams—Operations, Marketing, Product and Development—you’ll help tailor strategies that maximise performance and create long-term success for our partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining trusting relationships with key Snappy Shopper marketplace, white-label and order aggregation partners.
  • Developing and executing strategic marketing and account plans to drive sales, new customer growth, and revenue.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, product excellence, and service delivery.
  • Driving operational improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for partner issues, resolving concerns to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Managing projects, ensuring resources, timelines, and communication are well-coordinated.
  • Creating training documentation and ensuring staff are equipped to manage systems effectively.
  • Monitoring key account performance, preparing reports, and delivering insights to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to help shape our strategies.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong aptitude for account management and a passion for building client relationships. You don’t need years of experience—what matters most is your ability to think commercially, collaborate effectively, and drive results.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Some experience in account management, sales, marketing, or a similar customer-focused role.
  • A strong client relationship mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A solid understanding of (or willingness to learn) sales metrics, performance analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, commercial awareness, and a results-driven approach.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with CRM systems, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI (or a willingness to learn them).

Who you are is as important to us as what you can do. Do these values and behaviours sound like something that would come naturally for you?

  • Community: you understand Snappy Shopper goals to help local businesses compete online and our strategy, - work with others to deliver these whilst supporting colleagues.
  • Be Snappy: you work quickly to achieve tasks and recover when things go wrong or don’t go as planned.
  • Breaking Barriers: you thrive in the unknown - adapt to changing business requirements by prioritising key tasks and maintain a constructive and positive outlook when work is challenging.
  • Craic on: you are proactive in completing your role and responsibilities in a changing environment, whilst being open to and able share knowledge with others.

If you think you’ve got what it takes but hesitating…

At Snappy, we’re all about Community—inside and out. We exist to empower independent retailers, keeping local businesses thriving in a rapidly changing world. That means every role here has a direct impact, whether you're building our platform, engaging with our partners, or shaping the customer experience.

What’s In It For You

Joining a high-growth tech scale-up is a whole new adventure. As we scale, so will your career. You’ll get hands-on experience applying your skills in real-time, working on projects that directly impact local businesses and the communities they serve.

The entrepreneurial nature of our business means you’ll work alongside passionate, purpose-driven people who care about innovation and making a difference. The challenges and opportunities will keep evolving, meaning you’ll constantly be learning and developing new skills—no two days are the same!

You’ll also be closer to the action than in most other companies, gaining commercial awareness, insight into how a business scales, and the ability to shape the future of a growing sector.

For those who love autonomy, fast learning, and impact, we put no limits on your ambition and personal growth.

This is remote-based (UK) role with regular travel to partner sites and company meetings as required.
