Job description

At CtrlPrint, our vision is to simplify corporate reporting worldwide. With offices in Helsinki, Sydney, Stockholm, and London, we are a truly international company, trusted by 1,000+ clients to secure their most critical documents.

As a top-performing SaaS company (recognized as a Gazelle company in 2023 and 2024), CtrlPrint offers a dynamic, high-energy workplace where you can make a real impact. If you thrive in an environment that combines the best of a scalable business and a startup mindset, this is the place for you.

The Role

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at CtrlPrint, you are responsible for managing and developing relationships with CtrlPrint’s most important customers — both agencies and corporate/in-house clients.

You act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, ensuring long‑term success and mutual growth.

You will drive business outcomes through strategic account planning, commercial negotiations, and executive stakeholder management. This is a senior, relationship‑driven, and commercially focused role — ideal for someone who thrives on building partnerships, managing complex organizations, and aligning CtrlPrint’s value with our customers’ evolving business goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of CtrlPrint’s largest and most strategic accounts.

  • Build deep, trust‑based relationships with senior decision‑makers and key stakeholders across creative, marketing, and corporate functions.

  • Develop and execute long‑term account plans that align CtrlPrint’s capabilities with the customer’s business priorities.

  • Lead Executive Business Reviews to evaluate performance, ROI, and new partnership opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure world‑class delivery and service consistency across all touchpoints.

2. Commercial & Strategic Growth
  • Own the commercial strategy for each key account, including renewals, expansions, invoicing and pricing negotiations.

  • Lead contract discussions and complex renewals, ensuring alignment between customer value and commercial outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, such as expanded platform usage, international rollouts, or cross‑department adoption.

  • Forecast revenue accurately and manage financial performance for each key account.

  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to co‑create strategic initiatives that strengthen long‑term relationships (e.g., joint events, user panels, or case studies).

Segment Focus
  1. Agency and other strategic partners

  • Act as a strategic partner to top‑tier design and communications agencies, as well as other strategic partners, that manage multiple end‑clients.

  • Support partners in maximizing their use of the CtrlPrint platform across their portfolio — ensuring scalability, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

  • Provide market insights and best practices that help agencies differentiate their offerings and win new business using CtrlPrint.

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers and Business Development Managers to ensure smooth delivery and platform adoption across agency/partnership teams.

  1. Corporate / In‑House Clients

  • Build strategic relationships with communications, finance, and sustainability teams within large corporations.

  • Understand their internal reporting and publication processes to help them streamline workflows with CtrlPrint.

  • Support global rollout strategies, ensuring consistent adoption and governance across multiple departments and markets.

  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with senior stakeholders, aligning CtrlPrint’s roadmap with the client’s long‑term objectives.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to ensure day‑to‑day account health, user satisfaction, and proactive risk management.

  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify new opportunities within existing enterprise or agency networks.

  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Development teams to support innovation based on strategic customer needs.

  • Coordinate with Marketing and Leadership to enhance customer engagement, brand advocacy, and market visibility.

  • Work cross‑functionally to ensure agencies receive necessary onboarding and support when working on large or high‑profile projects.

Who You Are
  • A seasoned relationship builder and commercial strategist with experience managing enterprise‑level or multi‑stakeholder accounts.

  • Skilled in negotiation, strategic planning, and stakeholder management at executive level.

  • Comfortable navigating complex organizations and aligning multiple internal and external priorities.

  • Data‑driven and analytical, able to balance commercial outcomes with customer satisfaction.

  • Confident presenting to C‑level audiences and facilitating strategic discussions.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Enterprise Sales, or Strategic Partnership roles, ideally within a SaaS or technology business.

  • Proven success managing high‑value accounts with multi‑year contracts and complex negotiations.

  • Proven experience managing strategic agency partnerships or large‑scale agency networks is essential — experience within the financial reporting, design, or marketing industries is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with CRM and account planning tools and proven ability to drive commercial expansion and executive stakeholder engagement independently.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (especially Swedish, French, or German) are advantageous.
