Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Field-Based Key Account Manager in Neuroscience to drive sales growth across the Yorkshire and East Midlands territory. You will plan accounts, engage NHS stakeholders, and deliver tailored strategies aligned to priority products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales growth across high-priority accounts through account planning.
  • Develop tailored account strategies aligned to NHS and Ipsen priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, service capacity and clinical outcomes.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, develop advocacy and support service transformation initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Use customer insights and analytics to prioritise opportunities and maximise territory performance.
  • Drive engagement through face-to-face, virtual and digital channels.
  • Maintain therapeutic and product expertise for clinical discussions.
  • Conduct activities in line with ABPI Code and company standards.
  • Cover Yorkshire and East Midlands territory as a field-based KAM in Neuroscience.

Job description


  • Deliver sales growth across high-priority accounts through effective account planning and execution

  • Develop and implement tailored account strategies aligned to NHS and Ipsen priorities

  • Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, service capacity and clinical outcomes

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, develop advocacy and support service transformation initiatives

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional collaboration to deliver value-added solutions

  • Use customer insights and business analytics to prioritise opportunities and maximise territory performance

  • Drive engagement through face-to-face, virtual and digital channels

  • Maintain therapeutic and product expertise for scientific and clinical discussions

  • Conduct all activities in line with the ABPI Code of Practice and company standards

  • Cover the Yorkshire and East Midlands territory as a field-based Key Account Manager in Neuroscience


Requirements


  • Proven success in pharmaceutical sales, key account management or a similar commercial healthcare role

  • Demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders and drive change within healthcare organisations

  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning and business analysis skills

  • Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building capabilities

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams

  • Customer and patient-centric mindset

  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent qualification

  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare environment

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the territory

  • Experience within Neuroscience or a specialist therapy area preferred

  • Minimum of five years' pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing experience preferred

  • Experience working with NHS stakeholders and healthcare systems preferred

  • ABPI qualification preferred
