Main Purpose of Job:
Support the daily operation of the Key Accounts Team and the Business Support Team. Work closely with Key Account Managers to execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Collaborate with Field & Commercial Planning Teams to ensure excellent execution and receive feedback to enhance relationships with accounts and explore business development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support National Account Managers with deployment and execution of account plans and Joint Business Plans, ensuring compliance with trading terms.
- Implement and deliver approved multi-category channel strategies within defined accounts. Engage with external stakeholders such as Accounts' Buying and Supply Chain Teams to facilitate account finance, invoicing, and product availability management.
- Manage respective accounts in cooperation with Senior National Account Managers by maintaining project trackers and activity updates. Ensure timely completion and submission of all trackers.
- Prepare performance reports and submit proof of performance for invoicing. Complete all relevant PML documentation in a timely and compliant manner.
- Coordinate account management activities to ensure compliance and gather necessary information, addressing any issues proactively.
- Conduct bi-monthly updates with Line Manager to review results against KPIs and perform compliance checks to ensure activities have the necessary POP. Work with PML resources and external providers to address compliance issues.
- Coordinate between Account Team, Customer Services, AR & AP functions to address financial requirements. Support inbound and outbound payments, manage late payments, queries, and escalations. Lead debt-related queries and establish processes for debt collection and credit control.
- Update and maintain database information for each Financial Year Account Deployment Plan (ADP), ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Analyze costs, variances, and performance against budgets, and communicate findings to KAMs.
- Support creation and monitoring of POs reflecting costs per Key Account, updating monthly, and reviewing SAP and COUPA POs regularly. Follow up on invoice receipt and payment status.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accruals, reconciling open POs and reviewing supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Work Experience:
- Experience working with retailers, Marketing Service Organizations (MSO), or wholesalers.
- Proven ability to plan and implement activations in retail or key account environments.
- Basic financial knowledge including margin, ROI, and profitability calculations.
- Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities within channels.
- Experience developing relationships with retail, key account partners, or internal stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
