Key Account Executive - JD - UK (Remote)

We are looking for a commercially astute individual to join Under Armour’s commercial sales team, focused on the JD Group in the UK. This role is a new position with significant scope to impact the UA x JD business and the successful candidate’s development.

Your Impact

Provide strong sales experience with a track record in Top tier Account Management, ideally within the Sports Industry. Lead cross-functional collaboration with UA product, merchandising, marketing, operations and planning teams, and manage multiple JD Group account buyers and merchandisers. Strategically manage and drive revenue growth within JD Group, focused on the Womens/Girls Apparel category. Understand the JD consumer and leverage experience with JD if possible but not essential. Demonstrate open-mindedness, self-motivation and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the business relationship for the Womens/Girls apparel category.
  • Create, update and deliver a category-specific strategic account plan aligned to growth strategy.
  • Oversee end-to-end sales process (sell-in, sell-out, assortment, in-season orderbook management, and stock replenishment opportunities).
  • Build strong relationships within JD Group and deliver first-class service.
  • Understand and articulate sell-through data; inform strategy with internal teams.
  • Support product teams to inform strategy and opportunities.
  • Communicate business results to line manager and overcome barriers to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports during the GTM process.
  • Align UA and JD target consumer to optimize brand positioning.
  • Understand UA objectives and apply segmentation and differentiation policies.
  • Develop assortment proposals to meet distribution objectives.
  • Maintain knowledge of the sports industry, customer profiles, competitors and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Account Customer Service to ensure orders and delivery.
  • Maintain internal communication with line managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Follow company policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity and a solution-oriented approach in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial account management or a comparable role with a proven track record.
  • Experience in a B2B environment supporting quarterly go-to-market processes with internal and external teams.
  • Experience or understanding of working with product and design teams to drive assortments (SMU, exclusivity, color carve-out initiatives) with business case input.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiencies and results.
Workplace Location
  • Location: UK-based with travel to Under Armour offices (JD Group HQ in Bury, Manchester Showroom, Amsterdam HQ).
  • Work Schedule: On average, 2 days in the office and the remainder remote; this varies with GTM touchpoints and the selling season.
  • Travel: Approximately 40% to EMEA HQ and key GTM milestones in Amsterdam, Bury, and Manchester, plus regular retail visits within the category remit.
