Job Position: Key Account Business Development Manager

Description: The Key Account Business Development Manager within Dahua Technology UK Limited plays a pivotal role in engaging with integrators, end users, specifiers, and distribution partner sales and account management staff to improve Dahua's business performance and reputation, ensuring healthy, sustained growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Explore, identify, and develop significant project opportunities independently.
  • Recognize decision-making chains of key clients and users.
  • Proactively establish customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solution architects.
  • Manage entire project processes and lead bidding until success.
  • Promote Dahua products and services to specifiers, including integrators, installers, consultants, and end users in the UK and Ireland.
  • Follow up on new business opportunities and arrange meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to partners and interested parties.
  • Communicate product features, benefits, and developments.
  • Engage with partners to introduce and promote the Dahua Key Integrator Partnership Program.
  • Provide product and commercial education and training.
  • Encourage system specifications including Dahua solutions.
  • Work with distribution partners to meet business needs.
  • Develop market strategies and target vertical markets.
  • Support marketing events and exhibitions.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Dahua brand in the UK and Ireland.
  • Prepare reports for management and role support.

The Business Development Manager is also expected to:

  • Maintain and update the CRM system.
  • Have sufficient experience in CCTV industries.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and support existing and new customers.
  • Monitor activities and produce reports.
  • Conduct market research and surveys.
  • Attend meetings to support organizational development.
  • Participate in training to stay current with market and product knowledge.
