Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Kerb Layer for a Coventry-based project. This site-based role is temporary to full-time with an immediate start and DOE salary. You will install kerbs and edging from drawings, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with a civil team.

Applicants should have proven kerb-laying experience, be reliable, and hold a CSCS card. CPCS/NPORS plant qualifications and highway/civils exposure are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kerb Layer
• Experience installing kerbs and edgings
• Good understanding of levels, lines and falls
• CSCS card required
• Relevant construction/civils experience

Responsibilities

• Installing kerbs, edgings and associated concrete works
• Setting out kerbs accurately to the required lines and levels
• Working from drawings, specifications and site instructions
• Preparing foundations and bedding for kerbs
• Cutting and fitting kerbs where required
• Ensuring kerbs are correctly aligned, level and securely installed
• Working alongside Groundworkers, Machine Operatives and other site trades
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines and targets
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Site Supervisor or Site Manager
• Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the company

Are you an experienced Kerb Layer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Kerb Layer to join a professional and growing construction company. This is a site-based role requiring a reliable and hardworking individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for installing kerbs and edging accurately, working from drawings and levels, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Previous experience working as a Kerb Layer
• Experience installing various types of kerbs and edgings
• Good understanding of levels, lines and falls
• CSCS card
• Relevant construction/civils experience

Desirable:

• Previous experience on highways, roadworks or civils projects
• Experience working from construction drawings
• CPCS/NPORS qualification for relevant plant
• Dumper or small plant experience

• Follow site instructions and health and safety procedures
• Have a good attitude towards work and a professional approach
