Job summary

Rx Plus is recruiting a School Cleaner in Malling, Kent to maintain cleanliness of classrooms, corridors and communal areas after school hours. Typical shift is 3:30 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Applicants must hold a valid Enhanced DBS and be registered with the DBS Update Service, with previous cleaning experience, high attention to detail and reliability. This is a 12-week assignment with consistent afternoon hours.

Qualifications

• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential.
• Applicants must be registered with the DBS Update Service.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and staff facilities.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Ensuring all areas are clean, safe and hygienic.

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all areas of the school's facilities.
