Job summary

Atyeti Inc. is seeking a KDB+/q expert to develop and maintain high-performance data platforms for real-time and historical market data in London. You will design end-to-end KDB+ architectures and define ticker plant and gateway architectures, ensuring scalable and highly available systems for large data volumes.

You will lead performance tuning, capacity planning and data storage optimisations, working with tick, RDB, HDB architectures to deliver low-latency solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in KDB+ and q programming.
• Deep understanding of KDB+ database architecture and data modelling.
• Experience with real-time market data and time-series data.
• Experience handling high-volume, low-latency market data.
• Knowledge of performance optimisation, partitioning and data storage.
• Proven experience designing tick, RDB, and HDB real-time data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using KDB+/q.
• Write efficient q queries for real-time and historical market data processing.
• Design end-to-end KDB+ architecture for data platforms.
