N Consult ing Global is seeking a Senior KDB Developer to join our London technology team. You will design, develop and maintain KDB+/q applications, working with large-scale financial data in a high-performance environment.

The role demands strong hands-on experience with KDB+ and q, and a deep understanding of data modelling, ingestion and real-time processing. You’ll collaborate with traders and quants in a fast-paced IB/markets context.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with KDB+ and q.
• Experience building and optimising high-performance, low-latency data systems.
• Experience with large-scale financial/market data.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data ingestion and real-time data processing.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain KDB+/q applications.
• Build and optimise real-time and historical data solutions.
• Work with large volumes of financial and market data.
• Develop data pipelines and support data ingestion processes.
• Optimise system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
