ABOUT THE ROLE:

This key role reports to the Deputy Editor. Daily tasks include pitching ideas, writing engaging copy quickly, managing content across the site, social platforms, newsletter, and print magazine. It also involves responding to reader inquiries, handling office duties like sending commissioning forms, invoicing, dealing with post, and assisting with Prima events.

Key responsibilities:

• Pitched and written news stories for online
• Created entertainment and lifestyle articles for online and print
• Built the weekly newsletter
• Contributed to social media output
• Worked with the Deputy Editor to track and interpret data to inform content decisions
• Supported the team with brand events
• Acted as an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values
• Undertook additional duties as skills and company needs evolve
