The Institute of Art and Ideas is seeking a Junior Web Analyst to join their communications and digital marketing team. In this role, you will analyze user interactions with the website, improve engagement, and collaborate with experienced professionals to enhance digital strategies. A strong educational background and passion for influencing global thought are essential. You will gain hands-on experience with Google Analytics and contribute to website improvements.
Described by Total Politics as “Europe’s Answer to TED”, and by the Guardian as “the return to big thinking”, the IAI is a global platform for ideas from the world's leading thinkers. It hosts more than a thousand debates and talks, academy courses, and an online magazine. Content is constantly updated from our events, including HowTheLightGetsIn, the world's largest philosophy and music festival held both online and in person.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join our communications and digital marketing team as a Junior Web Analyst.
As a Junior Web Analyst, you will focus on understanding how users find our website, their interactions, and exploring ways to improve engagement and conversions. You should be able to interpret data patterns and develop goal-oriented solutions. As you progress, you will learn to use Google Analytics to inform website improvements, and gain experience with wireframes, user flows, and website design.
You will collaborate with experienced designers, developers, and our Creative Director to achieve the IAI’s digital objectives. You should be results-oriented, agile, well-organized, and an effective communicator with good editorial judgment. Your responsibilities include tracking website performance, testing new ideas, and reporting findings to the senior team. As you grow, you will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and strategies.
Candidates should have an excellent educational background, with at least a 2:1 degree from a top university. Passion for our content and our goal to influence global thought by emphasizing philosophy and big thinking is essential. Experience with Google Analytics, UX Research, basic design skills, and website management is highly desirable but not mandatory if you demonstrate engagement with the digital environment. Suitable degrees include philosophy, maths, human sciences, economics, psychology, marketing, or computer science.
