Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious person to join our communications and digital marketing team as a Junior Web Analyst.
Described by Total Politics as "Europe's Answer to TED", and by the Guardian as "the return to big thinking", the IAI is a global platform for ideas from the world's leading thinkers including more than a thousand debates and talks, academy courses, and an online magazine. Content for the site comes from the HowTheLightGetsIn Festival, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, and monthly online IAI Live events.
As a Junior Web Analyst, you will be motivated by understanding how users find our website, what they do on it, and what they like. You will be excited by exploring and developing different ways to improve website interaction and conversions. You will have the ability to interpret and respond to data patterns and the imagination to come up with goal-oriented solutions. As the role develops, you will build up a thorough understanding of how to use analytical tools to drive changes to the website, and gain experience of wireframes, user flows, and website design.
You will need to be results-focused, agile, and have excellent organisational skills. You will be a good communicator with sound editorial judgment. You will track the performance of our site(s), try out new concepts and ideas, and report back to the senior team with your findings and analysis. As you grow in experience, you will have the opportunity to put forward your own ideas and develop your own strategies.
All candidates should have an excellent educational background with a minimum 2:1 from a top university. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a passion for the content we create and our goal to change how the world thinks by putting philosophy and big thinking at the centre of culture. Experience with Google Analytics, UX Research, basic design knowledge, and experience working with websites are highly desirable and an advantage, though not essential if you can show engagement in and understanding of the contemporary digital environment.
