Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Junior / Trainee CAD Technician (Civil Engineering) in Hillsborough. You will use AutoCAD to create drawings, generate quotes and BOMs, and support engineers on projects.

This role includes structured training, shadowing experienced engineers, and a clear path to progression into a fully-fledged Technician, with a 9am–5:30pm schedule Monday to Thursday and earlier finish on Fridays.

Formación

• College leaver or holder of HNC/HND in Civil or Construction, seeking trainee CAD technician role.
• AutoCAD experience is required or strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Produce drawings using AutoCAD, generate quotes and BOMs.
• Liaise with Civil Engineers and conduct site visits once a month.
• Participate in ongoing training and shadowing with engineers.

Are you a Junior/Trainee CAD Technician with an HNC, HND or similar in Civil or Construction, looking to kickstart your career for a large and well renowned company, where you will be trained and developed with clear scope to progress your skill set and become a fully-fledged Technician?

In this trainee role you will be producing drawings using AutoCAD, generating quotes and proposals, creating BOMs, and liaising with internal engineers. There will be continuous training through shadowing experienced engineers on the job, along with internal courses if needed.

The Role:

• Producing drawings using AutoCAD, generating quotes, proposals, and BOMs
• Liaising with Civil Engineers, conducting site visits once a month
• Ongoing training and development through shadowing Engineers in the office
• Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm, finish at 4:30pm on Friday
