Junior Technical Consultant

(Cybersecurity & Infrastructure)

Remote (with monthly Manchester meetups & occasional client travel)

Are you eager to break into cybersecurity and infrastructure consulting? This is a great chance to join a fast-growing consultancy that partners with global enterprises to implement preventative security strategies.

We're looking for 1–2 Junior Technical Consultants to work in a high-trust, high-autonomy team. You'll start by shadowing experienced engineers and quickly grow to support mid-size to enterprise customers across sectors, including opportunities to travel to Florida, Sweden, and other international locations.

What You'll Do:

• Assist on consultancy projects involving vulnerability management, patching, and automation
• Support with troubleshooting OS-level issues (Windows/macOS/Linux)
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Learn and apply security best practices
• Contribute to system automation (bonus if you’ve used Ansible)
• Collaborate with a supportive team of 10+ consultants

About You

• Strong communicator with a STEM background, apprenticeship, or similar experience
• Confident working remotely and managing tasks independently
• Familiar with basic security principles, scripting, networking, and OS admin
• Bonus points for experience with enterprise environments or tools like Tanium/Ansible
