Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking an Early Career Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Requirements Management and Verification and Validation (V&V) to support complex infrastructure programmes.

The role applies systems engineering across the project lifecycle, emphasising defining, managing, and tracing requirements, and supporting the planning and coordination of V&V activities to demonstrate compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
• Experience capturing, tracing, and managing system and subsystem requirements.
• Experience supporting Verification & Validation activities to demonstrate compliance.
• Experience working with client delivery teams and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles across the project lifecycle from definition to acceptance.
• Capture, develop, and manage clear, structured, traceable requirements at system and subsystem levels.
• Support planning and execution of Verification and Validation activities to show compliance.
• Review design outputs and verification evidence, identify gaps, and support delivery teams to resolve them.
• Work directly with client delivery teams, embedding into projects and aligning with client processes.
• Contribute to technical discussions, workshops, and reviews with diverse stakeholders.
• Assist in managing change impacts to requirements and verification activities.
• Manage your workload and priorities within a hybrid working environment.
